  1. Drifting Windows Prank
  2.  
  3. Description: Makes all your windows drift around the screen (every 5 seconds a single window will move just a pixel or
  4.          two), guarenteed to make someone think they are going crazy or have a virus. This one is nice, to get rid of
  5.          it all you have to do is activate it with [alt][tab]. 
  6.  
  7.          NOTE: Windows 95 will display it on the taskbar. You can still work or play while it is running. If it starts
  8.          off as an icon, it will wait a random number of milliseconds before activating.

  14. Requires Windows 3.x, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 3.5.x, Windows NT 4.0

  16. Installation instructions for Windows 95 or NT 4.0

  18.     1) Extract drifting.exe to a directory
  19.     2) Execute drifting from Explorer (or the DOS Prompt)
  20.         (ie. go to the directory where you put it and double click on the drifting)

  22. Installation instructions for Windows 3.x or NT 3.x

  24.     1) Extract drifting.exe to a directory
  25.     2) Execute drifting from File Manager (or the DOS Prompt)
  26.         (ie. go to the directory where you put it and double click on the drifting)

  29. To stop the prank:
  30.     In Windows 3.x: 
  31.     hit [ctrl][esc] to bring up the Task
  32.         Manager and use the arrow keys to move down to the
  33.         prank, then hit [alt][e] to end the task.

  35.     In Windows 95: hit [ctrl][alt][del] to bring up the Task
  36.         Manager and use the arrow keys to move down to the
  37.         prank, then hit [alt][e] to end the task.

  40. Note:  To Drifting Windows fire off everytime Windows is started, 
  41.  
  42.     In Windows 3.x:     (copy drifting.exe to the StartUp Group in Program Manager)
  43.     Goto the Main Group
  44.     double click on File Manager
  45.     goto the directory where you extracted drifting.exe 
  46.     press and hold the control key 
  47.         while you left click and drag drifting.exe to the StartUp group
  48.  
  49.     In Windows 95:    (copy drifting.exe to the StartUp Folder)
  50.     right click on the Start button
  51.     select Explore (this will startup Explorer in the "Start Menu"
  52.     double click on Programs
  53.     double click on StartUp
  54.     now copy drifting.exe here
  55.  
  56.     In Windows NT4.0:   (copy drifting.exe to the StartUp Folder)
  57.     Use Explorer to drill down to 
  58.     <windows nt directory>/profiles/<user name>/"Start Menu"/Programs/StartUp
  59.     now copy drifting.exe here

  62. To uninstall simply delete drifting.exe from your machine.
